The warranty policy for all products has been expanded:

• 3 year warranty on all products, retroactive to January 1, 2008
• Credits issued upon receipt of product. If testing determines the failure was due to customer abuse, the credit will be reversed and invoice reissued.
• 10% Restocking fees for boxes with or without factory seal
• RadioLinx accessories may now be returned for credit

The new HART^® Analog Input gateways seamlessly integrate HART^® instruments with existing controller platforms over Modbus TCP/IP, EtherNet/IP and DF1 networks. They are available in four and eight channel options, where each channel is individually configurable and structured for point-to-point communication for the fastest possible update times. They offer an onboard power supply and can be placed in the field near devices, saving on cable and installation costs.

ProSoft Technology’s new 900 MHz and 2.4 GHz Industrial Frequency Hopping radios license-free and available for Ethernet or serial networks. They provide best-in-class performance, with features including 128 bit AES encryption, 1 watt of transmit power, and RF data rates up to 1.1 Mbps for Ethernet or 230 kbps for serial. They are ideal for long range SCADA applications, projects with challenging paths, and applications requiring penetration of obstructions such as foliage or walls. Ethernet radios also support wireless serial server functionality.

The popular 802.11abg Industrial Hotspot™ (RLX-IHW) now has an integrated serial device server, allowing users to send and recieve data to/from a serial device via serial tunneling. RLX-IHW operates simultaneously as an access point, repeater, Ethernet bridge and serial server. The RLX-IHW has 128 bit AES encryption, wireless IGMP querying for bandwidth efficiency and messaging robustness for multicast messages like producer consumer, and advanced self-healing and roaming settings.

The IEC 60870-5-101 Master Communication Module (PTQ-101M) allows Quantum compatible processors to interface easily with IEC 60870-5-101 slave (controlled unit) devices. Typical applications for this protocol include power distribution, water treatment, lighting systems for highways, etc. Originally developed for the Power Utility industry, the IEC 60870-5 protocols are very similar in function to DNP 3.0. Both protocols offer "Report by Exception" functionality and dating of events (time stamping).

The Johnson Controls Metasys Slave Communication Module (PTQ-N2) allows Schneider Electric Quantum compatible processors to interface easily with other Johnson Controls N2 master devices. These modules are ideal for commercial building and energy management projects. Single or multiple processor applications will benefit through reduced installation costs and increased functionality.
