Wireless I/O Stamps Out Downtime on Auto Press
This story outlines how frequency hopping Ethernet radios from ProSoft Technology® and ControlLogix® PACs from Rockwell Automation® were used by Gestamp Automoción on their automotive part stamping line to replace a hardwired system that caused frequent downtime at the facility. The radios handle all I/O for operation of the press despite having to communicate with difficult line-of-sight conditions.
