Ada County Landfill: Technology Talks Trash
In Ada County, a highly maintained landfill site requiring strict vegetation irrigation and gas process extraction used ProSoft Technology's Ethernet wireless radios to preserve a natural-looking environment in an area overlooking residential homes. By utilizing the flexible RadioLinx modems, Ada was able to maintain the valley’s visual appeal while obtaining the benefits of wireless capabilities.

Message Manager for ControlLogix®
The Message Manager module (ILX56-MM) is an easy to use PLC/PAC data transfer engine that enables Siemens Industrial Ethernet and PLCs/PACs and devices that use Modbus TCP/IP to connect with Rockwell Automation® networks available in the 1756 platform. It helps System Integrators and End Users in Factory and Plant Automation reduce engineering effort in coordinating data transfer between multiple control systems by connecting and transferring PLC/PAC data without PLC programming.

Modbus TCP/IP to PROFIBUS DP-V1 Master SE Gateway
The new Modbus TCP/IP to PROFIBUS DPV1 Master SE Gateway (5204SE-MNET-PDPMV1) is equipped with a new importable DFB (derived function blocks) file designed to simplify and expedite your integration process with a Schneider Electric M340 processor. Once the PROFIBUS network is configured, the gateway automatically generates the DFB logic required for the M340 Unity Pro processor to handle all the cyclic and acyclic I/O communication. For the user, this translates into faster deployment, greater ease-of-use, less engineering time and less room for errors in creating ladder logic. The module supports pass-thru PROFIBUS acyclic messaging directly to the PROFIBUS Master or Slave devices.
