At the Integrated Automation University in Dallas, Texas this March 15-20, Rockwell Automation® will offer demonstrations of the Integrated Architecture Builder (IAB), a graphical software tool for configuring Logix-based automation systems. The IAB helps you select hardware and generate bills of material for applications that include controllers, I/O, networks, Powerflex drives, OnMachine cabling and wiring, motion control, and other devices. Outputs include bills of material and reports with quality graphics.

MVI56E Enhanced Modbus Communication Module
The new MVI56E-MCM Modbus Master/Slave Communication Module and MVI56E-MCMR Modbus Master/Slave Remote Module for ControlLogix are backward compatible with existing MVI56 Modbus products in the field, with existing ladder logic, and with existing module configuration files, allowing users to easily swap and replace products while benefiting from the array of new features designed to improve interoperability and enhance the user experience. The MVI56E modules will be available soon for the Generic ASCII and Modbus TCP/IP Communication Modules.

The Message Manager
The Message Manager (ILX56-MM) is an in-chassis module for the ControlLogix® platform which enables users to easily migrate to the ControlLogix platform from legacy Rockwell Automation® PLCs, or third-party PLCs such as Siemens S7 PLCs using the Industrial Eternet Protocol and Schneider Electric PLCs using Modbus TCP/IP.

BACnet/IP Client to PROFIBUS DPV0 Slave Gateway
The ProLinx® BACnet/IP Client to PROFIBUS DPV0 Slave Gateway (5205-BACNET-PDPS) creates a connection between a PROFIBUS Master and BACnet/IP (Building Automation and Control networking) devices. The BACnet/IP Client adds BACnet/IP device monitoring and control to a PROFIBUS DP network, comes with GSD file for configuration, and supports 122 words input/122 words output, 200 words maximum I/O. The gateway is designed specifically for chillers, with BACnet/IP protocol supporting Analog and Digital Read/Write commands.
