MVI56E Modbus TCP/IP Multi-Client Enhanced Communication Modules

The MVI56E-MNETC enables Rockwell Automation^® ControlLogix^® Programmable Automation Controllers (PACs) to interface easily with multiple Modbus TCP/IP server-compatible instruments and devices. The Multi-Client module improves performance when controlling multiple servers on a Modbus TCP/IP network. Each module supports up to 30 clients. The MVI56E modules are configured via ProSoft Configuration Builder (PCB) and have Add-On Instructions (AOIs) for faster, easier set-up and for better integration with RSLogix™ 5000. PCB can be used with CIPconnect^® technology, enables the module to be configured and diagnosed through an EtherNet/IP connection routed or bridged over multiple EtherNet/IP or ControlNet paths. CIPconnect enables remote connectivity for applications that require segmentation between IT and automation networks.
