Add four Modbus Ports to Your Network
The EtherNet/IP-to-Modbus serial gateway with four Modbus application ports (5202-DFNT-MCM4) provides maximum flexibility for users with multiple Modbus networks. Each port is individually configurable with the option to support a Master or slave configuration, using either RS-232, RS-422 or RS-485 port settings. Depending on user preference, the EtherNet/IP interface provides the utmost in flexibility with the ability to operate as a client or server. The EtherNet/IP client functionality enables the gateway to send Modbus data directly to the processor without the need for message instructions. Or, for those users who prefer to use MSG instructions in ladder logic, the gateway can be configured as an EtherNet/IP server.
