Changi Water Reclamation Plant Fit for the Next Century

On the island of Singapore, Schneider Electric was chosen as the Main Plant PLC provider for the Changi Water Reclamation Plant, the cornerstone of the Singapore Deep Water Sewerage System. This critical Water Reclamation Plant now uses 160 PROFIBUS DP-V1 Master Modules (PTQ-PDPMV1) in a redundant configuration for I/O communications. ProSoft Technology's PROFIBUS module was selected for this project because of its tight integration with Schneider's UNITY and Concept processors, DP-V1 functionality, and Hot Standby ability.
