ProSoft Technology's high-speed in-rack PC (PC56) is backplane compatible and fully-customizable, which allows the module to easily integrate into an existing network without any modifications to the ControlLogix controller program. The powerful PC56 module creates a reliable and flexible solution for a number of application scenarios and industries. These include:
Packaging: The PC56 is ideal for performance optimization in such packaging-related equipment as multihead weighers and Vertical Form Fill Seal Bag Machines (VFFS). Backplane connectivity and this powerful module provide a reliable and high speed data exchange rate, vital for the speed of calculations required in multihead weighers, and in turn, is pivotal to the speed and efficiency of VFFS applications.
Oil and Gas: This powerful module's backplane connectivity, high-speed data exchange rate, and data archival capabilities enable the polling of oil heads, the retention of data despite potential loss of connectivity, and make this data accessible either remotely or at the enterprise level.
Water and Wastewater: The PC56 is ideal for applications where the use of paperless automation systems is required for compliance reporting in accordance with the EPA and other regulatory agencies. - Processing power of a PC fully integrated into the ControlLogix environment
- Software Development Kit (SDK) includes API calls to:
