The PROFIBUS DP-V1 Master module is a powerful communication interface for CompactLogix I/O compatible processors. The module incorporates proprietary backplane technology that enables powerful data exchange with CompactLogix I/O compatible processors.
Features and Benefits
The module supports complete Master specifications according to IEC 61158. Acyclic parameter data can be transferred with Class 1 or Class 2 DP-V1 services, allowing processors to easily communicate with slave devices supporting PROFIBUS DP-V0 or DP-V1 protocol.
The module acts as an input/output module between the PROFIBUS network and the CompactLogix or MicroLogix processors. Data transfer from the processor is asynchronous with the I/O data transfer on the PROFIBUS network. Databases are user-defined and stored in the module to hold the data required by the protocol.

- Configuration data obtained from ProSoft Configuration Builder Software, which defines the PROFIBUS network, and then downloads the configuration to the module using the serial port of the PC
- Supports all CompactLogix processors: L20/L30/L31/L32/L35 and L43 (L43 & L45 supported with RSLogix 5000 v16)

The inRAx PDPMV1 PROFIBUS Master module acts as a PROFIBUS network scanner, transferring Input and Output data between PROFIBUS devices and processor data memory over the backplane.
