Honeywell 7800 Communications Module

3150-CBM

The ProSoft 3150-CBM Honeywell 7800 Series Master Module is designed to allow A-B SLC platforms to interface with Honeywell 7800 Series Burner Management hardware devices.

The 3150-CBM module acts as a polling master over the Honeywell 7800 Series of burner management products. Through simple ladder logic and data table configuration, an SLC ladder application is able to access important operational data from the 7800 units for display in the data table. In addition, the ladder is able to write to points in the slave devices.

Features

Simple to Use

All module setup and operating control is performed over the backplane through simple ladder logic and data table configuration. The only software needed is a ladder-programming package.

Hands Off Operation

Once the CBM module has been setup for operation, the card is capable of accessing (read/write) the points in the burner management devices. The CBM module is integrated directly into the SLC rack, forming a tightly integrated and practical solution. Once configured, the module will perform all protocol related functions as commanded by the ladder logic program.

Installation, Set Up and Operation

The ProSoft module installs in any slot in a local rack (or a remote rack in the case of the 3100 module). The product's capabilities are enabled and controlled with simple ladder logic and data table initialization.

Applications

The Honeywell 7800 Master module can be found in many industrial sectors, including manufacturing.
