NEED ASCII CONNECTIVITY TO FLEX I/O?

ProSoft Technology, Inc has made ASCII device connectivity to FLEX I/O easy with the MVI94-GSC communication modules. These modules allow connectivity between FLEX I/O to barcode readers, scanners, scales, printers, terminals and many other ASCII devices.

ProSoft's ASCII communication modules are single-slot solutions and include the following features:

• Two virtual channel 0 application ports permitting both the reception and transmission of data between the processor and the ASCII devices

• Both ports are active ASCII ports, sending and receiving data as controlled by the ladder logic and the user configuration (no additional module programming required)

• Data is sent between the module and the FLEX I/O platform across the backplane using the module's input and output images

• The ASCII Generic serial modules support up to 115.2k baud
