Business Development Manager (Pacific Region)

With the expansion of the Asia Pacific regional business, we are currently seeking a suitable candidate for the following vacancies in various locations:
Business Development Manager (Pacific Region)
Location: Malaysia
Responsibilites:
- Responsible for initiating and implementing business growth for products, services and solutions within the region to meet and exceed revenue targets
- Actively take on a sales leadership role, serving as the lead person for product solutions, strategic sales planning, product launches and market analysis
- Identify and develop new Distribution channels while providing excellent support to existing Distributors
- Work directly with the Distributors to provide sales presentations and education on capabilities, performance and application of ProSoft’s products
- Identify and develop new product opportunities
- Develop and execute sales, promotional and developmental programmes to enhance the market share of ProSoft products and solutions.
- Understand and manage the Industrial Distribution Channels within the Pacific Region
- Possess strong business acumen, business planning and budgeting skills to lead the business development in the Pacific region markets.
- Able to formulate and continuously improve effective and innovative sales strategies
Requirements:
- Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or other relevant engineering fields
- Minimum 3 years in an Engineering Sales role or a role requiring specific Product/Industry expertise
- Self-motivated, independent and performance driven
- Resourceful, result-orientated and a team player
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently, and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Must have an excellent command of written and spoken English & Chinese. Fluency in other Asian languages is an added advantage.
- Excellent computing skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM software
