ProSoft Technology and Western Reserve Controls Announce Strategic Alliance

Akron, OH and Bakersfield, CA - September 1, 2011 ProSoft Technology, Inc. (www.prosoft-technology.com), a leading industrial communications company, and Western Reserve Controls, Inc., (WRC, www.wrcakron.com), a manufacturer of electronic products for the industrial, commercial and aerospace automation markets, are pleased to announce a newly formed strategic alliance in which ProSoft Technology will become a worldwide reseller of select WRC products.

Under the terms of the agreement, ProSoft Technology will assume exclusive sales rights for all of the WRC network communication products that are centered on DeviceNet communications technologies.

WRC President Fred Billock states, “This strategic alliance will allow WRC’s customers expanded worldwide access to its products through ProSoft’s extensive sales, support and distribution network, as well as providing ProSoft’s customers with access to additional products and technologies for distributed sensor, actuator and communications applications.”

The agreement is effective September 1, 2011.
