The Johnson Controls Interface module allows the user to easily configure one or both ports to be slaves on a Johnson Controls Metasys network. The 3100-N2 (PLC) is a single slot solution for AB 1771.

By providing configurable access to both ports, these products provide previously unavailable functionality and versatility. The N2 card provides the interface necessary to allow an Allen Bradley processor to be monitored and controlled over the Johnson Controls N2 link.

Simple to Use
All module setup and operating control is performed over the backplane through simple ladder logic and data table configuration. The only software necessary is a standard ladder-programming package.

Hands Off Operation
Once the N2 card has been set up for operation, the card provides transparent control and monitoring capabilities. The N2 interface card and Allen Bradley processor combination forms a tightly integrated and practical solution.

Installation, Set Up and Operation
The ProSoft module installs in any slot in a local or a remote rack. The product's capabilities are enabled and controlled with simple ladder logic and data table initialization.

• The following commands are recognized and acknowledged by the 3100/3150-N2, but do not impact the operation or return any data:- 0/0 : Time update- 0/4 : Poll message no acknowledge- 0/5 : Poll message with acknowledge- 0/8 : Warm start
• All other commands return a bad command error code
• Warning and alarming functions performed on analog input and binary input data types
• Change of state response buffering
