MVI56 Upgrade

ProSoft Technology’s MVI56 protocol interface modules have undergone an upgrade making the modules you have been using successfully for years even better!

The MVI56E will support ControlLogix MCM, MNET, GSC, DNPSNET and DFCM modules.

• WEB Page: Standard browser access using new Ethernet port or CIPconnect (via ENBT/EN2T) to upload User Manual, Datasheet, Startup Guide, Safety Guide, and firmware.


• Configuration: MCM, GSC and DFCM products continue to be configured using RSLogix 5000 ladder logic.


• ProSoft Configuration Builder (PCB): Using Ethernet port or CIPconnect™ replaces HyperTerminal using serial port for download configuration and diagnostics connecting directly to module or over the backplane for other MVI56E products.


• ProSoft Discovery: Browser software shipped as a utility (similar to RadioLinx IH Browser) to locate MVI56E products and allow the IP address to be temporarily changed.

• Personality Card: CF memory module contains all the configuration for a quick in the field module replacement.


• LCD: Scrolling plain English messages for status and alarm data.


• CIPconnect™: PC to module configuration, diagnostics and analyzer via ENBT/EN2T backplane bridging for local and remote chassis.
