Where do configuration files get stored on the MVI56E platform? |
Article Number: 505 | Rating: Unrated | Last Updated: Mon, Jul 14, 2014 at 8:26 AM |
On the MVI56E platform configuration files get stored to the CompactFlash card. This way if the module fails the CompactFlash card can be placed in a replacement unit without the need for downloading a configuration to the module. Note: On the MVI56E-MCM and the MVI56E-GSC the configuration is stored in ladder logic and transferred to the module on start-up. This also enables a replacement module to installed without downloading a configuration file. |
