How do I change the video display resolution in the AppSrv?

There is no configuration utility provided to change the video display resolution. The resolution can be set by changing the following values in the registry:

hkey_local_machinesoftwaregeoderesolution

hkey_local_machinesoftwaregeodeframebufferdepth

The default resolution is "800 600 60".

Valid resolutions are: "640 480 60", "640 480 72",  "640 480 75", "640 480 85",  "800 600 60",  "800 600 72",  "800 600 75",  "800 600 85",  "1024 768 60",  "1024 768 70",  "1024 768 75",  "1024 768 85",  "1280 1024 60",  "1280 1024 75",  "1280 1024 85".

The default value for frame bufferdepth is 16  for16-bit color. Important: if a resolution of 1280x1024 is specified, the frame buffer depth must be reduced to 8 bits due to the amount of video memory available.
