Modbus Plus Routing Paths can very considerably depending on what devices are on the network, how many segments make up the Modbus Plus network, and what kinds of devices link the segments. The attached document for a Schneider/Modicon BM85 Bridge Multiplexer, in Section 2.1, provides a detailed description of Modbus Plus device paths with examples of how diverse the answer to this question might be. This document should help inform you on how to set up Route Paths in our MBP solution's device definition table. |
