Can a Micro800 PLC communicate with ProSoft EtherNet/IP™ solutions?

Rockwell Automation® developed an Add-On Instruction to allow the Micro800 PLC to communicate with MicroLogix™, SLC™, and PLC® CPUs on Ethernet.

You can visit Rockwell customer help page below for more information (login needed):

This Add-On Instruction can be used to communicate with ProSoft EtherNet/IP™ solutions.

The sample code below has been modified to make a Micro850 communicate with most of the ProSoft EtherNet/IP modules (in-chassis DFNT cards, DFNT gateways, or PLX3x-EIP gateways).

Enter the IP address of the ProSoft solution in the appropriate tag, and the program will read 100 words from the ProSoft device and write 100 words into it every second.
