Baud rate entries greater than 32767 in ProSoft Modules |
Article Number: 104 | Rating: 5/5 from 1 votes | Last Updated: Thu, Jul 3, 2014 at 9:22 PM |
Since RSLogix uses signed integers, the highest positive value that can be entered is 32767. To avoid this issue, when specifying higher baud rates, Prosoft modules only require the first 3 digits of the baud rate. e.g., to enter a baud rate of 38400, enter 384. Use 576 for 57600, and 115 for 115200. |
