Establishing RS-485 communications

Module is shipped in RS-232 mode. Seeing communication errors. Error: "-11" not seeing data enabling communication
  1. Set port jumper to RS-485 position
  2. Confirm wiring polarity and integrity
  3. Confirm communication parameters for port matches other device
