New Autoscan Support for PROFIBUS DP-V1 Modules and Gateways

The new Autoscan feature for PROFIBUS DP-V1 Master modules and gateways reduces start up times and simplifies troubleshooting by scanning the PROFIBUS network and uploading slave device addresses and configuration information.

CIPconnect Provides the freedom of accessing a ProSoft module from anywhere the Ethernet network allows

CIPconnect® provides connectivity for a PC to ProSoft Technology enabled modules over Ethernet using Rockwell Automation's 1756-ENBT EtherNet/IP module. This allows the user to configure the modules and network, upload, download files and view network and module diagnostics using ProSoft Configuration Builder (PCB). RSLinx is not required for configuration. All that is needed is an IP address and slot number.

CIPconnect Benefits for ControlLogix PROFIBUS are:

Allows FDT Asset Management software to connect to devices using freely distributed communication DTM.
Allows for wireless type connections to the module.
Simplifies IT administration in supporting a single IP address per rack especially when multiple ProSoft Technology modules are required.

The most efficient and user-friendly PROFIBUS Module available today

The MVI56 PROFIBUS DPV1 Master Communication Module (MVI56-PDPMV1) is a powerful communication interface for ControlLogix platform processors. The PROFIBUS Master acts as an input/output module between the PROFIBUS network and the processor. The module supports complete Master specifications according to IEC 61158. Acyclic parameter data can be transferred with Class 1 or Class 2 DPV1 services, allowing processors to easily communicate with slave devices supporting PROFIBUS DPV0/V1 protocol. ProSoft Technology's PROFIBUS DPV1 Communication Module for ControlLogix is CIPconnect enabled, supporting ladder logic messaging via CIP backplane communication.

PROFIBUS DPV1 Master for CompactLogix

PS69-DPM

This module expands the functionality of Rockwell Automation’s CompactLogix™ to include PROFIBUS DPV1. The module and network scanlist configuration for the PS69-DPM is done with our next generation configuration tool, PROSOFT.fdt, a FDT/DTM compliant tool. The configuration is transferred via the serial diagnostic interface and stored in the module’s FLASH memory. Complete program examples for simple and quick start-up are available.

PROFIBUS DPV1 Slave for CompactLogix

PS69-DPS

This module expands the functionality of Rockwell Automation’s CompactLogix™ to include PROFIBUS DPV1. The PS69-DPS supports both I/O control and messaging. Explicit ladder logic CIP message blocks provide slave status diagnostic data and acyclic messaging. This interface appears to the CompactLogix™ controller as a standard I/O module allowing it to be configured via RSLogix™ 5000, or configuration can be transferred from the Master to the PS69-DPS. For third party configuration a GSD file is supplied.

PROFIBUS Master for CompactLogix

MVI69-PDPMV1

The module acts as an input/output module between the PROFIBUS network and the CompactLogix or MicroLogix processors. Data transfer from the processor is asynchronous with the I/O data transfer on the PROFIBUS network. Databases are user-defined and stored in the module to hold the data required by the protocol. The module supports ladder logic messaging via CIP backplane communication.

PROFIBUS Slave for CompactLogix

MVI69-PDPS

The PROFIBUS DP-V0 Slave gives access to the unit's input and output images with up to 244 bytes of Input and Output data, for a maximum of 400 bytes total. These Input and Output data blocks are mapped by the user within the module's data memory allowing maximum flexibility and data transfer with other protocols. Explicit ladder logic CIP message blocks provide slave status diagnostic data and acyclic messaging.

PROFIBUS Master for SLC

MVI46-PDPMV1

The module acts as an input/output module between the PROFIBUS network and the processor. It supports complete Master specifications according to IEC 61158. Acyclic parameter data can be transferred with Class 1 or Class 2 DPV1 services, allowing processors to easily communicate with slave devices supporting PROFIBUS DPV0/V1 protocol. The module also supports ladder logic messaging via M0 and M1 files.

PROFIBUS Slave for SLC

MVI46-PDPS

The PROFIBUS DP Slave gives access to the unit's input and output images with up to 244 bytes of Input and Output data, for a maximum of 400 bytes total. These Input and Output data blocks are mapped by the user within the inRax module's data memory allowing maximum flexibility and data transfer with other protocols.
