ProSoft Connect is Now Belden Horizon

We’re pleased to announce the latest evolution of ProSoft’s remote connectivity solutions – Belden Horizon™.

Belden Horizon – formerly known as ProSoft Connect – is an updated platform that will be consistently evolving to provide users with expanded services that enable data acquisition, transmission, and orchestration.

A major part of the platform will be the same Secure Remote Access (SRA) and Persistent Data Network (PDN) technology that ProSoft Connect enabled. Since 2016, ProSoft (along with our parent company, Belden) has offered on-demand secure remote connectivity to remote equipment. With the addition of PDN, users have been able to opt for always-on remote access.

The increased focus on remote monitoring has heightened the need for reliable, secure remote connectivity, and we’re excited to continue offering these services on Belden Horizon.

The new platform

If you’ve used the service previously, you’ll note that it’s still the same intuitive, user-friendly interface you’re used to:

∙ The SRA technology and PDN remain the same on Belden Horizon.

∙ ProSoft’s Industrial Cellular Gateway and Network Bridge are accessible through the platform.

∙ The same security features that have helped us ensure secure remote connectivity remain in place. These measures include token-based two-factor authentication, Active Directory support via single sign-on, Virtual Lockout-Tagout, user-configurable password policies, audit trail logs, and more. As with the previous iteration, Belden will manage all updates, and no software will be required to install or maintain.

∙ The site is housed at www.belden.io – for now, the previous URL will redirect you, but make sure to update your bookmarks!

Belden Horizon features unique capabilities, and we’re looking forward to updates to the platform as they continue.
