What is the function of the "Delay Preset" in the Data Map section? |
Article Number: 165 | Rating: 3/5 from 1 votes | Last Updated: Fri, Jun 27, 2014 at 8:58 PM |
The "delay preset" refers to the number of processor scan counts waited until that data map entry is updated. It is recommended to set the preset to 1000 to begin with in order to avoid a condition where the processor will spend most of its time updating the data map and not performing other functions. The processor is a 25 MHz so 1000 scans occur quickly. |
