The 4xxx and 5xxx series ProLinx Gateways have opto-isolated application serial ports. The debug/config serial port is not opto-isolated. The opto-isolators used on ProLinx are the HCPL-0531 type from Avago Semiconductor and are UL recognized to withstand 2500 Vrms (input to output) for one minute.
